More than a place to learn.
A community to grow in.
PCHC brings local homeschool families together through meaningful classes, shared experiences, and genuine connection, with family, character, growth, and community at the heart of what we do.
ROOTED IN FAMILY. BUILT FOR COMMUNITY.

You can love homeschooling and still want more.
You love the flexibility, the time together, and the ability to shape an education around your child.
And sometimes, you still want more.
More friendships. More experiences. More trusted adults. More families who understand this way of life.
That’s where PCHC comes in.
This is your homeschool.
We’re here to make it richer.
Your curriculum, schedule, and educational priorities are yours.
We create more opportunities around them: hands-on classes, local experiences, meaningful connections, and a community to share them with.
Families choose what fits. We focus on making it worthwhile.

The kind of community we're building.
We want our kids to grow into capable, kind, responsible people who know how to treat others well, own their choices, help when help is needed, and contribute something good.
PCHC families don’t have to be identical.
But we do care about how we show up for one another.
Kindness | Respect | Responsibility | Good judgment | Service | Character
Nobody gets it right all the time. The goal is to keep growing and do a little better than we did yesterday.

Kelly Speer
Founder, Plant City Homeschool Collective
BUILT BY A HOMESCHOOL MOM, FOR HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES.
Built because
I needed it, too.
When we chose to homeschool our son, I was trying to give him what he needed and build an education that fit him.
Then I went looking for community.
The one local option we found just didn’t fit for our curriculum or our family. Everything else meant driving to another city, often with my son and a brand-new baby, for a single class or activity.
And I kept thinking:
Why doesn’t Plant City have this?
So I started building the community I had been looking for.
PCHC exists to bring classes, workshops, events, hangouts, service projects, shared meals, and real relationships closer to home, all while giving families room to homeschool in the way that works for them.
I built PCHC to create the homeschool village I went looking for and couldn’t find.
Meet The Leadership Team
Good communities are built by people who care.
PCHC is stronger because of the people who help lead it with care, consistency, good judgment, and a genuine commitment to our families.
