About Us

Plant City Homeschool Collective began as a simple idea: what if homeschooling didn’t have to feel so isolating or overwhelming? When our own family started this journey, we quickly saw the need for a space where families could come together - not just for academics, but for friendship, support, and a sense of belonging. What started with a few conversations at playdates, and around my kitchen table has become a vibrant, nonprofit community of homeschoolers committed to learning together.

Unlike many groups in our area, we’re not tied to any particular curriculum or religious affiliation. This is a welcoming space for all families: religious, non-religious, and everything in between, because we don’t define your homeschool journey for you.
One of the greatest gifts of homeschooling is the ability to choose your own path - what your children learn, how they learn, and the values you center it around.
That’s why we exist in the in-between: not to prescribe a way, but to support your way. Here, families of all kinds find connection, encouragement, and enriching experiences, anchored in timeless values and the freedom to shape your family’s learning journey.
